She is Consultant Infertility Specialist & Laparoscopic Surgeon practicing in Nagpur since last 16 years. Prior to that she was in Mumbai & worked at Breach Candy Hospital & Sir J J Hospital for 7 years. Her field of interest is Infertility, urogynecology & laparoscopic surgery. She has specialized in removing uterus without giving any cuts on the abdomen. She is regularly invited as faculty for international & national conferences. She has presented her research papers at Malaysia, Taiwan, Sri Lanka & South Africa at international level. At national level she has 11 research papers to her credit. Recently she visited John Hopkins University America to update her knowledge on IVF She has published one book & contributed 10 chapters in various text books. Her 3 research papers on low cost IVF, polycystic ovaries & no scar hysterectomy are published in international journals. She is National Vice President of Federation of Obstetricians & Gynecological societies of India (FOGSI)for the year 2012 an apex body with 26000/ Gynecologists as its members from all over India. She is peer reviewer for The Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology of India. As part of her social responsibility so far she has personally conducted adolescent health programmes in more than 35 schools & has sensitized almost 15,000 teenagers on various issues related to adolescent health. She has received appreciation letter from Government of Maharashtra for her work in the field of female feticide. She has conducted sensitization workshops on female feticide for MBBS students in all the 7 medical colleges of Vidarbha apart from having such programmes at various social forums like rotary, Jaycees & rajasthani mahila manch.Her passion is creating awareness about HIV & female feticide.
