  • These medical reports once received will be sent to various specialized hospitals across the country.
  • During medical visit in India, it is highly advised to the patient and patient’s associate or relatives, to compulsorily get their yellow fever and oral polio immunizations done (if not taken).

Oral Polio Vaccination Advisory

  • Oral vaccination against polio is compulsory to all the patients (including visitors) travelling to India from Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Syria, Kenya, Somalia, Pakistan and Nigeria.
  • The medicines should be administered 4 weeks prior to your travel to India through a Government approved medical clinic, Institute or hospital in your country.
  • The certificate of Polio Vaccination should be carried along with the other immigration documents. This is a mandatory requirement as per the Government of India.

  • We help you in getting VISA Invitation Letter by sending these passport details to the hospital.
  • At the same time, you need to submit the VISA application online here. Once submitted, you are given VISA interview date by the Indian Embassy in your country.   • You should also contact or speak to the airlines you wish to travel to India and also regarding certain formalities such as a number of travelers along with you on medical the VISA.
  • We send you VISA Invitation Letter, this letter needs to be submitted by the patient or associate or relatives at the time of their interview at the embassy.
  • Once interview is over, a date is given to collect your VISA at the embassy. Now you can book your flight tickets. It is advised that you book your flight tickets through a local travel agent, so that it will be easier for you to reschedule, if required.
  • Once tickets are booked kindly mail us a copy of the same, immediately. This will enable us to make all hassle free arrangements for your medical travel in India.
  • Collect your VISA from the Indian Embassy in your country and go through these instructions before travelling to India. (Instructions)
  • Before departure, we provide you with the contact information of the person who will receive you at the airport in India.
  • On arrival, our representative will be waiting with a placard of your name and will receive you at the airport.
  • You will then be taken to the preferred hotel/hospital. If patient arrives at late night then he/she is taken to the hotel, and if arrives in the day-time then is taken to the hospital directly from the airport.
  • In the hospital after the admittance patient is given time to freshen up and relax.
  • After relaxation, doctor consults and prescribes necessary tests and medical examinations to the patient.
  • After getting the medical test reports, doctor explains patient about detailed treatment and pre & post surgery plans. As per convenience, schedules it at the earliest.
  • Once surgery is over, patient is given post-op care instructions and kept under observation.
  • Only doctor in charge can authorize a patient's release from the hospital once he feels that the patient is fit enough.
  • After the hospital discharge, patient has to stay at the hotel or guesthouse which is nearest to the hospital. Travcure helps you in finding the best and affordable accommodation as per convenience.
  • If you intend to travel to close-by places or sightseeing, it is possible, only if doctor says ‘OK’looking at your health progress. We arrange logistics for tourism.
  • The patient needs to visit hospital for regular post-op check-ups.
  • Once doctor is satisfied with patient’s health progress then only a patient can travel back to his/her own country.
